08.17.07 105.7 The Point / Shallow Bay / Sick Puppies, Cinder Road, Leo tour

Whew, where to begin? Let’s start out with a HUGE special thanks to everyone who has been tuning in to 105.7 The Point and voting for us in the “Cage Match”. For the past two nights, our single “Chemical Cell” was put up against Breaking Benjamin and Trapt. Because of you, we won with 84% and 94% of the votes, respectively. We are very shocked and thankful for the opportunity 105.7 The Point has given us. Please feel free to participate by listining to 105.7 at 9PM Central, 10PM Eastern (available on the internet as well) and texting your vote to 48258.

Shallow Bay. What a wonderful group of people you are. Last night, after the last show of the tour, we invited 40 people to our dressing room with the Shallow Bay crew and performed “Broken Record” and “Sommerset” acoustically. They have the entire performance on video which should be available very soon. I will definitely we posting that, so visit back often.

The Sick Puppies and Cinder Road. This was a very short tour of about two weeks, but we made some very good friends. Last night we bought a few bottles of champaigne for both bands, and at the very end we all went up and took a bow together. It was a good moment. We are very sad this tour is over. Special thanks to Bret, both Pauls, Geoff, Sparky, & Chris.

08.07.07 98.9 Rochester / Sick Puppies, Cinder Road, Leo tour

989.jpgFirst of all, an extremely special thanks goes out to Kimberly, Beck and Pat from 98.9 The Buzz and Dave from the Taste of Rochester festival for presenting us with a check for $1000 for winning the battle of bands contest that day in which we didnt even know we were competing in until we were finished! We were treated so very well in Rochester and we cannot wait to get back. Special thanks to House of Guitars for providing two beautiful Martin acoustic guitars for our on-air performance. I will be posting the video of the performance as soon as I can.

Today we are in Portland, Maine playing our second show of the Sick Puppies tour. Everything is going as well as we expected. Navigate to the journal for more. Check out these articles from the local papers, they include a new photo as well:

06.02.07 Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin & Puddle of Mudd PLUS Wayne’s World

The first time playing an outdoor pavillion is definitely a memorable time, especially in front of a crowd of 15,270. Stepping in front of a crowd like that sends your heart soaring. It was also fantastic to see our friends from Breaking Ben once again. Thanks to everyone involved for making this happen. I don’t think we’ve ever signed this many autographs.

We would also like to mention that the in store signing we did at Wayne’s World in Dallas, PA was an extremely fun time, thanks to Wayne, the employees, and all the local musicians and fans that came to hang and jam with us. I’m pretty sure that someone handing me a new guitar to try out every 5 minutes is a good time.

04.21.07 104.7 WIOT Toledo / Papa Roach

We would like to thank 104.7 WIOT in Toledo for coming out to support us at Frankies (5/18) and also for being the first station in the United States to add Leo’s new single “Chemical Cell” to rotation!

TOLEDO! We can use your support. If you would like to help us and hear our song on the radio, please do so by requesting our single “Chemical Cell” on 104.7. The request line is: 419-240-1047. You can also request Leo online HERE.

We had such a fantastic time this weekend starting in Baltimore where we played Power Plant Live w/ Papa Roach. Those guys were incredible to us and also displayed a flawless energetic performance. We couldn’t wait to get to Toledo the next night to see our friends from The Burden Brothers, and finally Youngstown, the home town of Mark and I (Michael), where we performed at Ceders and drove my poor mother crazy with constant chaos at her house.

When we arrived in New York, we surely didn’t expect interviews with Hit Parader, MTV, ABC Radio, Guitar World, & Metal Edge. We would love to thank everyone for such professional & inventive questions. We would also like to thank Ginger Greagor and Freddy Fabbri. “Hey guys, how about just one more round?” We miss you already.

04.14.07 Burden Brothers, Leo Tour

Last night of the tour! Oklahoma City, where the beer is only 3% alcohol. This club was very old looking and very dirty but ended up to be an extremely good time. The night started off slow, and ended up to be a wild time with a finale at the end of the night which included both the Burden Brothers and Leo on stage together singing. What a good time. We surely are going to miss all of those guys. So just like any normal last night of a tour, we all got hammered drunk, snuck around stealing the Burden Brothers phones, strategically took pictures of our penises, set them as the phone wallpaper, and slyly returned them to their original location. Today we mysteriously have photos of penises on our phones as well.

Thanks to everyone who helped us out on this tour, especially Wes and MT for going out of their way to help us with gear and maintenance. Until next time…
